Negotiations continue between PTI, Govt over possible truce

 ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Negotiations continue between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ‎and the government continues, as both parties discuss the possibility of cessation of hostilities at ‎PTI leader Jahangir Tareen’s residence in Islamabad.‎


During the meeting, PTI was represented by Jahangir Tareen, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and ‎Pervaiz Khattak, whereas Ishaq Dar, Mian Javed Shafiq and Zahid Hamid represented the ‎government delegation.‎


According to sources, during the negotiations, the committees present at the meeting reviewed ‎the PTI charter of demands consisting of 11 points. In this regards, both the parties exchanged ‎views about the possibility for drafting a ceasefire agreement.‎


After this discussion, the meeting concluded on a positive note, and the delegations left the ‎venue.
