Summary Everyone tolerated Qureshi's address hoping he will be told about resignations, he said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Wednesday that there’s no harm in accepting resignations of those Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members of National Assembly (MNAs) who appeared in Speaker’s Secretariat to hand in the resignations, Dunya News reported.
During his address in the National Assembly, Fazlur Rehman requested the Speaker National Assembly to clarify the ambiguity about the resignations, adding that there’s no harm in accepting resignations of those who appeared in the Speaker’s Secretariat in person.
He said there should be no more scrutiny of the resignations and they should be accepted immediately.
JUI-F chief said that everyone tolerated PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s address hoping that the Speaker will tell him something about the resignations.
He said Qureshi had the right to address the House today, adding that the solidarity exhibited by the parliament today was praiseworthy.
Fazlur Rehman said that Qureshi’s speech hinted that the matters are close to the solution.
