Summary Kaira says he has got positive indicators and hopes to find out a political solution of crisis soon
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that he has got some positive indicators during the talks with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri and hoped to arrive at a political solution soon.
Talking to media after meeting Dr. Tahirul Qadri in his container today (Tuesday), Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that if Dr. Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan show some flexibility, a political solution could be arrived at. He said that meeting gave him hope for a positive resolution of the matter. He prayed for good results.
Responding to a question, Kaira said that the government should take the speeches made in the joint session of the Parliament by leaders of all political parties as an advice rather than strength. He said that he couldn’t talk about his discussions with Dr. Tahirul Qadri as it was a bit too early.
