Summary 200 to 300 policemen remain off duty daily saying they are sick
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Punjab Police officers are trying to avoid duties at the sit-ins as 200 to 300 policemen remain off-duty daily saying that they are sick, Dunya News has learnt.
Police officials try to get the medical certificates from PIMS Hospital and if the doctors refuse to provide them with the certificates, they use coercive means in order to get the medical certificates.
Police sources have told that police has formed a secret cell in order to monitor the police officials who submit fake medical certificates. Sources also informed that lists have been prepared of those policemen who had asked for leaves on medical basis. Strong action will be taken against these officials.
