Summary PTI's demand of PM's resignation is intact; party has added 5 more demands to its charter.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A fresh round of negotiations between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) started on Sunday afternoon at the residence of PTI leader Jahangir Tareen, Dunya News reported.
The preliminary phase of dialogue resumption has begun at Tareen’s residence. The negotiation team representing the government comprises Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rasheed, Ahsan Iqbal, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Zahid Hamid whereas the committee representing PTI comprises Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak, Asad Umar, Arif Alvi and Shafqat Mehmood.
PTI’s demand of Prime Minister’s resignation is intact and the party has added at least five more demands in its ‘charter of demands’.
Sources said that if both parties come to an agreement, it would be incorporated into a binding agreement.
