Summary All political parties have agreed upon dialogue as a solution, says chief JI.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Talking to the media after the advisory session today, Ameer Jamaat e Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq said that both the government and the protestors now have little time to sort out the tension, the country would suffer if the crisis be prolonged.
Sirajul Haq said that they have a consensus over all demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) except one but there’s a difference over the method of protest.
PTI has represented all the democratic forces over the electoral reforms. He further said that JI supports Imran Khan’s demands in the light of the constitution and the government has accepted most of the demands.
JI chief emphasized that all political parties have agreed upon that the solution to this crisis shall take place through dialogue. Both the parties should sort out the matter within themselves rather than looking up to a third force and the nation is awaiting their decision.
Sirajul Haq stated that the constitution has ways for Prime Minister’s impeachment. He further advised that an institution should be given the charge to mediate for reconciliation so the issue could be resolved.
