Summary Thousands rise-up in solidarity with PML-N
FAISLABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) demonstrates street power in Faisalabad, as thousands of protestors gathered to respond to anti-state rallies.
PML leaders made it clear that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would not resign at any cost.
The rally led by former law minister Rana Sanaullah started from Zilla Council and went on until the clock tower where workers chanted slogans in favor of the government and the perpetuation of democracy.
Protestors including a large number of women were seen holding pictures of Nawaz Sharif and flags of PML-N.
Addressing the rally Rana Mashood said that this was a conspiracy attempting to dethrone the PM, and all coalition partners were on the same page, for the upholding of democracy. Mashood added that there would be no compromise on the supremacy of the constitution and democracy.
Other PML-N leaders while commenting on the current political situation said that no one would be allowed to invade Pakistan through ‘mob politics’.
