ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The third phase of dialogue between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and government is continued as of Saturday evening. PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI will try to end the deadlock, Dunya News reported.
The first phase of dialogue between PTI and the government faced delay when the Islamabad administration blocked the Red Zone by placing containers again.
The breaking of the ice led to the second phase of dialogue in which the rearrangement of PTI’s six demands was discussed but PTI had insisted on maintaining Prime Minister’s resignation as the first demand.
The government’s negotiation committee is being headed by governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar and other members include Pervaiz Rasheed, Ahsan Iqbal, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Zahid Hamid.
The PTI’s committee comprises Javed Hashmi, Asad Umar, Arif Alvi and Pervaiz Khattak and is being headed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
