ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The second inning of dialogue match between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and government began on Friday as the suggestion of sending Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on a hiatus until the investigation of alleged election rigging concludes surfaced, Dunya News reported.
PTI president Javed Hashmi said that former president Asif Ali Zardari voiced support for PTI’s rally but one needs a PhD to comprehend him.
According to reports, even though PTI is insistent on Prime Minister’s resignation, the recommendation to send Prime Minister on a hiatus is reportedly being considered.
Sources add that the negotiation committee representing the government comprises Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rasheed, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Zahid Hamid and is headed by Chaudhry Sarwar.
The committee representing PTI includes Javed Hashmi, Asad Umar, Arif Alvi and Pervaiz Khattak and is being headed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that they’re heading for negotiation with good intentions, adding that it is common to demand resignations from prime ministers in world’s democracies.
