Summary "Even PM House has no clue about IG Islamabad’s transfer" - Information Minister
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervez Rasheed has said that the government has no plans of using force against the protesters.
Pakistan Muslim League (N) stalwart said that Prime Minister’s House does not even know that IG Police Islamabad has been transferred. He said that the government has not attacked the protesters as yet and it has no plans to attack them in future.
“Army is just doing its duty under the constitution of Pakistan and it will continue to do the same in future”, said Rasheed.
Pervez Rasheed assured that the government is still ready for dialogue and is waiting for a positive signal from Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
PMLN Senator told that the government does not want to introduce a wrong tradition by making the Prime Minister resign. He said that all the democratic forces were united against any extra-constitutional step.
Earlier, Chairman PTI Imran Khan had alleged the government of planning to use force against the protesters. Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi had also said that the government was planning to do crackdown on the PTI protesters.
