ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In response to PTI's accusation of police crackdown, the government has clarified that no decision has been taken to carry out operation against the anti-government protesters.

In response to the allegations, the government said that there is no intention to launch crackdown against both the sit-ins. Government refuted Tahirul Qadri’s claim of a crackdown.
Government spokesperson further stated that Inspector General (IG) Islamabad had applied for a leave, which has now been granted. The government wants to resolve the issue through dialogue.
