Summary Political instability engulfed by conspiracy theories
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Once again Dunya News takes a step forward to mediate the current political state of affairs, and presents a 3-point formula for the reconciliation process between the government and protestors. The Dunya News Think-Tank’s formula comprises of three points.
The first point states that a parliamentary committee should be formed for the purpose of electoral reforms, and the process should be completed within 6 months. All these reformatory conclusions drawn by the parliamentary committee should be unanimously passed by the parliament. After this process, implementation of electoral reforms should be put in effect immediately.
The second point of the formula states that after the safe passage of electoral reforms, local government elections should follow that, this is how parliamentary sovereignty would reach the public at grassroots level.
The third point of the reconciliatory formula states that the tenure of an elected government should be reduced to 4 years from 5 years.
