ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - One of the PTI leaders has said that Imran Khan will address the Azadi March supporters at 6PM today.

Arif Alvi said he will not only present charter of demands but would also give an ultimatum to the government.

Earlier, the address was scheduled at 3PM today.

Thousands of anti-government protesters kicked off their Azadi March from Lahore under the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman on Independence Day.

After travelling for more than 40 hours, the PTI caravan reached Islamabad and vowed to stage sit-in in federal capital until the PM resigned.

In his recent tweets, Imran Khan slammed Nawaz Sharif for expanding family business on public money.

He said that public will not accept the results of general elections, adding that they know that Nawaz Sharif was involved in the match-fixing.

He reiterated that Nawaz Sharif should step down.

The PTI leader along with marchers spent last night under the open skies.

Talking about the enthusiasm of rally supporters, arif alvi tweeted that people may be physically exhausted but they were mentally strong.

Earlier, the MQM chief Altaf Hussain urged PTI and PAT to take back their ultimatum.

Meanwhile, political contacts are also been reported to lower the temperature in the federal capital.
