ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Saturday that he will not return home until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns, adding that the ‘real independence celebration’ will be held tonight, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the media, he said he is fresh and has done plenty of exercise to deal with the Sharifs. He said the real independence celebration will begin tonight.
On a question about number of participants, Khan said the participants of ‘Azadi March’ were spread over several kilometers, claiming that not everyone could arrive because of obstacles put by the government. He said people will return and the real participation should be judged this evening.
On the question whether the rain will deter the march, Khan said that rain is the blessing of God and that participants of the long march are enjoying it.
