Summary Armed people prohibited from moving with March
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Department of Interior implemented Section 144 throughout Punjab, which will be applicable until August 18.
After the implementation of Section 144, there will be a ban on a gathering of more than four people, however, those who have taken permission from the local administration, they will be indemnified from prosecution.
People will be prohibited from wielding arms, sticks, petrol bombs and any of violence inciting weapons, as such people will not be allowed to be part of any march. Measures will be taken against the police if they try to disrupt the flow of traffic. Inflammatory remarks are also prohibited, whereas there would no place for criminals to hide, even if they start taking cover behind women and children.
