ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday decided to resume contacting political parties over the imposition of Article 245 in Islamabad and ‘Azadi March’, Dunya News reported.
According to the sources, a three-member delegate under headship of PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi will start resuming contact with political and religious parties from August 4. The delegate comprising Qureshi, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak and party’s Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhry will meet Jamaat Islami chief.
PTI’s delegate will invite all the political parties to participate in the ‘Azadi March’ while also consulting leadership of religious and political parties over the imposition of Article 245 in the federal capital that will give extraordinary powers to the army to control the law and order situation.
