Summary Monsoon rains shall continue to dribble for the next 24 hours.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Monsoon rains are intermittently pouring down in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Makran, Kalat, Zob Division, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on Saturday. According to the Met Office the weather is to stay cloudy and more rains are expected in the next 24-hours.
Widespread rain with thunderstorm is expected in scattered areas of Gilgit Baltistan whereas Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala division can experience incessant rainfall in the 24 hours.
Rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places in Sindh including Karachi during next 24 hours.
Rainfall measured in various cities yesterday is as follows:
Balakot 97, Muzaffarabad90, Islamabad 71, Rawalpindi 54 and Ghari Dupatta 23 milliliters.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning was:
Islamabad 24 degree centigrade, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar 28, Quetta and Muzaffarabad 25, Murree 18 and Gilgit 23 degree centigrade.
Maximum temperature recorded was:
Nok Kundi 46, Dalbandin 45, Sibi 44 and 43 degree Celsius in Chalas and Daud.
