Summary CJ LHC constitutes a full bench to hear Bajwa's plea against the formation of the Judicial Tribunal

Lahore: (Dunya News) – The Judicial Tribunal stated that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leaders as well as activists have the last chance to get their statements recorded and they should appear before the tribunal till 25th of July.


Superintendent (SP) Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Umar Virk submitted an affidavit along with other police officers before the Judicial Tribunal at Lahore High Court (LHC).


SP Tariq Aziz was irked when after the court hearing, a journalist asked him that why he was seen congratulating Gullu Butt instead of capturing him, reportedly.

 

The Joint Investigation team of Police submitted their report regarding the proceedings of the incident to the Tribunal while on the other hand the Tribunal granted an extension till 25th July to the leaders as well as members of PAT for them to get their statements recorded.


However, the Chief Justice of the LHC constituted a full bench on the plea of Aftab Bajwa against the formation of the Judicial Tribunal.
