Summary Suggestions for electoral reforms would be encouraged if brought in the parliament.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – In the wake of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march due on August 14, Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood said that a political dialogue could be held with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, adding that no final decision has yet been taken to allow or denounce Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march.

Law Minister Punjab said that any electoral reforms suggested by Tehreek-e-Insaf in the parliamentary committee would be open heartedly welcomed. He further emphasized that if PTI wants to bring electoral reforms, they should bring up the matter on the forum of the parliament. No one would be allowed to take law into their hands in the guise of protest, he added.

Rana Mashood said if government, law and the constitution would not be valued, it would cast a terrible example.
