LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted a petition against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan s provocative speeches in parliament.
Meanwhile, another petition has been filed in Lahore registry of Supreme Court against PTI s long march.
The petition filed in LHC stated that Imran Khan gives provocative statements during parliamentary sessions. The PTI chief also ridicules several personalities in his speech that may incite the emotions of the people, the petitioner added.
After hearing the argument, the LHC sought a reply from federal government and Law Ministry on August 7.
Furthermore, another plea was filed in Lahore Registry of Supreme Court against the long march being announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
The petition was filed by barrister Zafarullah. In his petition, the barrister stated that the long march on Independence Day may result into anarchy. The petitioner requested the court to direct the government to bar PTI from holding long march on August 14.
