ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday handed over details of references filed by late Dr Sher Afghan Niazi and MQM leader Farooq Sattar against against PTI chief Imran Khan to former chief justice’s son Arsalan Iftikhar, Dunya News reported.
Verified copies of the National Assembly Speaker’s ruling and Election Commission’s decision were also provided to Arsalan Iftikhar.
Arsalan Iftikhar sought these documents to prepare a new reference against Imran Khan.
Arsalan had claimed that Imran Khan doesn t fulfill the qualifications specified in Article 62, 63 of the constitution to contest elections, adding that he is neither Saadiq (honest) nor Amin (righteous).
