Summary He said Azaadi march is the struggle for supremacy of the constitution and stability of democracy
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said on Thursday that Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif should resign over ignorance of existence of terrorists in Lahore, Dunya News reported.
Talking to the media, Hashmi said that the government has increased people’s problems through its poor policies, making it the reason for other parties to join the march.
He said the ‘Azaadi’ march is the struggle for supremacy of the constitution and stability of democracy. He alleged that people’s money was wasted in corruption in the Nandipur power project, adding that the government is silent over the issue so far.
PTI President said that the ‘Azaadi’ march will take place in any case. Hashmi termed woman cricketer Haleema Rafiq’s suicide as condemnable and demanded investigations from the police authorities.
