Summary One Elite Force official embraced martyrdom during encounter with militants near Raiwind.
RAIWIND (Dunya News) – According to details, police conducted a search operation in Jannat Colony area of Araiyan Pind (Araiyan village) on a tip off about presence of militants in a compound located in the area.
The militants opened fire when the police party surrounded the compound as a result an Elite Force official embraced martyrdom.
Additional contingents of Rangers, police and other security forces have reached the area. The exchange of fire between security forces and militants was going on till filing of this report.
