Though the month of Ramzan has set in and it is considered as a holy month, there does not seem to be an end to crime in Karachi city. Earlier today, it was reported by Dunya News that twenty four (24) cases of extortion have been registered in the city since the start of Ramzan.

Four days ago Dunya News had also received CCTV footage in which an Additional Sub Inspector of Karachi Police was seen being murdered in a target killing incident.

Despite the ongoing operation in Karachi city, so far 1685 incidents of target killing have taken place. Kidnapping for ransom and extortion cases add further to the crime scene of Karachi. The largest city and financial hub of the country remains soaked with blood during the Holy Month of Ramzan as well.
