LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has decided to take the opposition parties into confidence regarding PTI’s ‘long march’.
In this regard Imran Khan will invite leaders of all the opposition parties including PML-Q chief Choudhry Shujjat Hussain, PAT chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and MQM leaders at an Iftar Dinner in Islamabad.
According to sources, PTI chief will brief the political leaders regarding planning, strategy and objectives of ‘long march’. They further said that the decision has been taken to put further pressure at the government.
On Wednesday, the government invited PTI chief Imran Khan to dialogue. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed assured to address PTI’s concerns, adding that the climate of conflict and confrontation can affect the operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists.
PTI issued a deadline of August 14 to the government on Tuesday, demanding to complete voters’ verification in four allegedly rigged constituencies. PTI warned to begin long march against the government after the deadline.
