Grenade attack at Rawalpindi police checkpost injures two including cop

Summary Police sources say the attacked checkpost was established only two days ago.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Unidentified motorbike riders attacked a police checkpost at Sadiqabad area in Rawalpindi with a grenade on Wednesday resulting in injury of two passers-by and a cop, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the wounded police officer was identified as police constable Nasir Mehmood and the wounded passers-by were residents of Shakryal area identified as Nabeel and Atiq-ur-Rehman. The checkpost was established only two days ago.
Rescue officials say that the injured were taken to Benazir Shaheed Hospital.
