Summary Minister of State says Nawaz Sharif is taking keen interest to resolve electricity crisis.
MULTAN (Web Desk) - Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said there would be no loadshedding in the country during Iftar, Sehar and Taraweeh timings.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Abid said the government would bring power generation up to 85 per cent of the total installed capacity in the country to reduce loadshedding during Ramazan.
Abid stated that there would be equal distribution of electricity in the country during Ramazan.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was taking keen interest to resolve electricity crisis.
About installation of electricity meters at tube wells, Abid Sher Ali said that he had instructed officials to install meters at the earliest.
He maintained the government was also providing tractors on subsidized rates and offering insurance policy on crops to improve farmers’ economic condition.
