Summary US had offered to aid Pakistan in investigating a deadly siege on Karachi airport.

(Web Desk) – US State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki on Thursday said that Pakistan has not responded to U.S. offer regarding assistance in investigation of Karachi airport attack.

“Well, we – in this particular case, we have offered forensics and investigative assistance to the relevant Pakistani authorities investigating Monday’s heinous crime. We have not – Pakistan has not yet responded to that offer, but it remains on the table.” Jen Psaki told reporters during briefing.

The spokesperson said it seems that Pakistani forces had the ability to beat back the terrorists, but they need some support on intelligence gathering and detecting weapons.

Jen Psaki said that TTP is a designated foreign terrorist organization and there are a range of steps the United States has taken in that regard.
