Summary Authorities have decided to prepare sketch of driver who assisted terrorists.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – A case has been registered against attack on Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

The leadership of banned Tehreeke-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid have been nominated in the First Information Report (F.I.R) filed on behalf of the Airport Security Force (ASF) officials.

The case was filed under section 324, 302 and terrorism act.

On the other hand, investigation into the incident is still underway. Authorities have decided to seek help of the witnesses to prepare driver s sketch who assisted terrorists to reach the airport.

Officials have found no record of terrorists in National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA).

Investigation officials have suggested that attackers may have been staying in some area near the airport because it was not possible for them to travel with heavy weapons.

It may be mentioned here that ten militants disguised as security force members and armed with rocket-propelled grenades broke into the airport around Sunday midnight, one of the most brazen in a long-running Tehreek-e-Taliban insurgency. At least 34 people were killed.
