Summary 15 to 20 flights were disturbed due to the terrorist attack at Jinnah International Airport.
(Web Desk) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Shujaat Azim has said the Karachi airport will be made operational at 4 pm today (Monday), Radio Pakistan reported.
He said security has been heightened at all the airports.
ISPR spokesperson Asim Bajwa also tweeted “#Kci Update:Final Clearance of entire Airport completed.Airport handed over to CAA/ASF, likely to open at 1400hrs.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Sharif ordered the authorities to reopen the Karachi airport for public as soon as possible.
He directed the Civil Aviation Authority to facilitate the passengers in every possible manner.
A PIA spokesperson told Radio Pakistan that 15-20 flights disturbed due to the terrorist attack will be rescheduled by Monday evening.
