Summary ECP has formed a legal framework committee that will prepare draft for legislation in this regard.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to introduce 100 reforms before next general elections.

According to sources, the ECP has constituted legal framework committee for electoral reforms and the body has started preparing draft for the legislation in this regard.

The sources added that the proposed electoral reforms include, extension in the duration of scrutiny by 14 days, action against Returning Officers, empowering authority of election tribunals, action against those rigging the election and improvement in the procedure of voting.
