Karachi: Targeted killing claims 6 lives, TTP members' bodies recovered

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dead bodies of seven Taliban members were found from bushes at Manghupir area of Karachi on Monday. At least six others including a cop lost their lives in various acts of violence, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, seven bodies were recovered at Manghupir area of Karachi and police said that dead bodies had signs of torture and that they were killed by firing.
Sources said that all seven men belonged to the Outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat’s Yasir Group.
Those killed were reportedly in dispute with opponent groups over extortion and land grabbing. Three of those dead were identified as Shoaib, Khan Saeed and Yousaf Fazal.
On the other hand, one Sajid Ali was gunned down as result of firing at a hotel.
In another incident, a man was shot dead who was later identified as Imtiaz Hussain.
A man was gunned down in a separate incident near Lyari Ath Chowk. Sub inspector Saleem was gunned down by unidentified men at Korangi Bilal Colony. One Ahmed Ali was killed as result of firing at Liaquat Abad flyover.
Another body was recovered from a drain at Jumma Goth area of Landhi.
