Tensions between institutions will harm the country: Sirajul Haq

Summary Sirajul Haq said that this is the time to serve the nation and not of politicking.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) Chief Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that the tensions between institutions at this point can harm the country, adding that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should go to Waziristan instead of going on foreign tours, Dunya News reported.
He said that some people are trying to harm democracy, adding that there will be talks of London when in London and not of Pakistan.
Addressing media in Lahore, he said that all political parties gave the mandate of establishing peace to the government and that the government shouldn’t pursue operation in tribal areas.
While inviting Prime Minister to visit Waziristan, he urged Nawaz Sharif to tell which forces are failing the negotiation process.
JI Chief said that some forces are trying to harm democracy. He said that such people talk about democracy during Marshal Law period and of Marshal Law during democratic period.
