Summary Consumers will be given relief in June bills, NEPRA authorities said.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A notification regarding reduction in electricity price by Rs 1.48 per unit has been issued today (Wedneday), Dunya News reported.
According to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), the notification has been issued under fuel adjustment for the month of April.
NEPRA authorities told that distribution companies will provide Rs 7 billion relief to the consumers. Consumers will be given relief in June bills.
In April, 6.40 billion units of electricity were supplied to consumers.
New prices will not be applicable for the domestic customers using 50 units, agriculture sector and K-Electric consumers.
