ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – National Electric Power Regulatory Authority today (Wednesday) approved Rs 1.48 per unit reduction in power tariff, Dunya News reported.
During hearing regarding power tariff, Nepra was informed that Rs 58 billion were spent to generate seven billion units of electricity during April.
The relief is being given to the consumers because total power generation cost was decreased by Rs 12 billion during last month.
Under the monthly fuel adjustment plan, the regulator decreased power price by Rs 1.48.
New prices will be applicable from next month.
