ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved reduction in cost of electricity generation.
The approval has been given after reduction in furnace oil price that dropped by Rs 6,173 per ton in the month of April.
According to NEPRA, Rs 1.63 per unit has been reduced for Jamshoro Power Company’s Unit One, while Rs 1.88 has been approved in the power generation tariff of Units Two, Three and Four of Jamshoro Power Company.
The consumers would get relief through monthly fuel adjustment.
