Summary Protestors should come to PM House and discuss their issues, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said.

BAHAWALPUR (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today (Friday) inaugurated 100MW solar power project near Bahawalpur, Dunya News reported.

The project will be completed by December, 2014.

Addressing the gathering during inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said overall 4100MW electricity will be generated through solar energy.

He said a number of power projects are underway to generate cheap electricity through coal which will help produce production of thousands of megawatt of electricity.

Speaking about political situation in the country, the Prime Minister said that some political parties want to destabilize democracy by arranging protests.

These protestors do not want to see country heading towards development, he added.

PM Nawaz said, "let Pakistan progress, don t stop it."

He invited Pakistan Imran Khan to have a meeting with him to resolve the issues, instead of staging protest.

Exactly a year after the historic general elections, a majority opposition parties sans the PPP will hold a massive rally on May 11 against the incumbent government over issues including alleged vote rigging and corruption.

Imran Khan s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is going to stage protest in Islamabad against the alleged elections rigging while Tahir-ul-Qadri s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will hold protest in Rawalpindi against the entire political and electoral system in the country.

Khan s protest is also being supported by the right-wing Jamaat-e-Islami.

The Pakistan People s Party and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam - Fazal-ur-Rehman are not participating in the protests.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s party feels that such protest will only hamper the fledgling democracy in the country.
