MIRANSHAH (Web Desk) – Political administration in Miranshah today (Friday) imposed curfew for indefinite period in the northern border region of North Waziristan, a day after a roadside explosion killed nine security personnel in the area, Dunya News reported on Friday.

According to sources, security officials have been given  shoot at site  order if any one violated the curfew.

Entry and exit points of the area have also been sealed for the traffic.

Meanwhile, 59 suspects have been arrested during search operation in different areas of North Waziristan.

The decision to impose curfew was taken after a bomb planted by suspected militants ripped through a truck carrying troops on Thursday, killing nine soldiers and wounding more than a dozen.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

Attacks have continued unabated despite dialogue, a concern to regional powers already anxious about security as most foreign troops prepare to leave neighboring Afghanistan this year.
