PASRUR (Web Desk) - A husband burned his wife alive in Khananwali village of Pasrur over a domestic dispute, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
Sakhawat Ali was married to his second wife Najma six months ago.
According to neighbours, Najma often had heated arguments with Sakhawat over his first marriage.
Fed up with the recurring dispute, the husband poured kerosene over Najma and allegedly set her on fire.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she could not survive.
Police have arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident ordered police to submit a report at earliest.
