Summary Landmine explosion occurred on North and South Waziristan border.

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - Three security personnel including an officer embraced martyrdom and three others critically injured in a landmine blast on the border of North and South Waziristan Agencies, Dunya News reported on Monday.

According to ISPR, the bomb planted on the roadside exploded when military convoy passed by the site. 

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has condemned the blast and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

On the other hand, one cop embraced martyrdom when terrorists attacked police check post near Goth Jumma Khan area of Dera Murad Jamali.

Last night, two rockets fired from unknown location landed near runway within the premises of Bacha Khan Airport. No damage or loss of life was reported in the incident.

Authorities promptly suspended flight operations after the incident.

Activities at the airport resumed after an hour when security men declared the airport  safe.
