Summary Pakistan has one of the world's worst records for fatal traffic accidents.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Two people were killed while another three including a woman were injured when two cars collided with each other in Mughalpura area of Lahore on Thursday, Dunya News reported.

As per details, a speeding car coming from Cantt towards Shalimar Bagh area crashed into another vehicle on the Link Road.

Resultantly, driver and a passerby were killed on the spot while three others were severely injured.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospital where woman’s condition is said to be critical.

Pakistan has one of the world's worst records for fatal traffic accidents due to poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.

On April 19, a speeding passenger bus smashed into a tractor-trailer in the town of Sukkur, 425 kilometres (266 miles) north of Karachi in the province of Sindh., killing 42 people including 14 children and injuring more than a dozen others.

Sixteen people were killed and 49 injured when an overloaded truck crashed into a ravine earlier this month in the central province of Punjab.
