Summary MQM's 2 MPAs will take oath as ministers and another 2 as advisors to Chief Minister.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has agreed to formally join Sindh government from today. MQM’s two members of provincial assembly will take oath as provincial ministers at governor house today, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and MQM have buried the hatchets after long consultations. MQM will formally join Sindh government today after PPP addressed MQM’s concerns.
Initially, two ministers from MQM will take oath today whereas two advisors and a special assistant will also be appointed.
Reportedly, the preparation of oath taking ceremony is underway.
According to sources, MQM’s Rouf Siddiqui and Dr Sagheer Ahmed will take oath today. Rouf Siddiqui will be given industrial ministry whereas Dr Sagheer Ahmed will take the ministry of health.
Adil Siddiqui and Abdul Haseeb will be appointed as Chief Minister’s advisors.
