KARACHI (Dunya News) – Expressing displeasure over ministers’ lack of interest in legislative proceedings, the Sindh assembly speaker adjourned the session due to the lack of quorum on Friday.
It was noted that only six members were present while opposition benches were all vacant. The speaker Agha Siraj Durrani adjourned the session as the proceedings couldn t move forward without the quorum was complete.
Addressing the media after adjourning the session, Agha Siraj Durrani said he was always complained about delay in session, lamenting that members weren t present when the session was duly started today.
He said the members should donate their TA, DA if they can’t come on time.
The session was held for only eight minutes today.
