ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The condition of the 7-year-old child who had miraculously survived the ruthless slaughter at the hands of own uncle is improving. Children Hospital doctors removed the ventilator on Tuesday, however, the child will stay in intensive care ward for the next few days, Dunya News reported.
7-year-old Zain is the only survivor of the three brothers brutally slaughtered and thrown into a pit by own uncle.
Doctors termed the condition of Zain satisfactory as of Tuesday after he went through a 3-hour-long surgery last night where doctors successfully patched blood vessels.
Zain has been transferred to the intensive care ward after he showed satisfactory amount of recovery. Doctors say his condition is gradually improving.
Zain, along with two brothers was thrown into a 15-feet deep trench after their own uncle slit their throats.
Police has been raiding various locations following leads and recovered suspect’s identity card, passport and other documents.
Police has also written to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to obtain the suspect’s travel history.
According to Dunya News sources, the motive behind the brutal double-homicide is still unknown.
Various teams of police are in Abbottabad raiding various locations, however, local police is reportedly not cooperating with the investigating team.
Spiritual leader’s direction a possible motive?
It was earlier reported that the suspect Nadeem, the uncle of the slaughtered children, might have done the brutal butchery upon instructions from spiritual leader.
According to the grandfather of the children, Nadeem took his nephews to a picnic but later killed them on the direction of a fake pir.
