Summary Chinese investors will be invited to install coal-based power plants in Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - A meeting of Pakistan-China working group is underway in Islamabad to review progress and implementation on energy and Pakistan-China trade corridor projects, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Asif told the meeting that Pakistan will overcome energy crisis with Chinese assistance.
He said Chinese investors will be invited to install coal-based power plants in Pakistan. He said all facilities will be provided to Chinese companies in the country.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal who is also attending the meeting said over three billion people will be benefited with Pakistan-China economic corridor.
Vice President of Chinese National Energy Administration said China will make investment of six billion dollars in energy sector of Pakistan.
He said Pak-China friendship is exemplary and it will continue to gain strength in times to come.
