Summary Taliban negotiator said the government should show some seriousness to make the dialogue successful.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – One of the members of Taliban negotiating committee Professor Ibrahim has said that the government negotiators haven’t contacted so far, adding that delay in dialogue may prove harmful.
He said the list of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) prisoners has been handed over to the government while no response has so far been received.
Professor Ibrahim said both government and the Taliban committee will meet the Taliban shura once government replies back over the list. The meeting will then discuss the matters relating to ceasefire and release of prisoners.
He also said that the government should show some seriousness to make the dialogue successful. The venue and date for the meeting will be decided after government responds to the list.
