Summary Sindh govt is defaulter of Rs 52 billion, notices have been issued, he said.

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) -- State minister for water and electricity Abid Sher Ali said on Saturday that Sindh government is defaulter of Rs. 52 billion and that notices for recovery of debt have repeatedly been issued, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, federal government has stopped supplying additional electricity to Karachi city.
Addressing media, Abid Sher Ali said that the supply of additional electricity to Karachi city has been stopped because Sindh government hasn’t paid its debt of 52 billion rupees.
He also said that Sindh government has been notified of the development though newspaper advertisements.

Abid Sher Ali has reportedly been cracking down against electricity theft since becoming the minister. He often comes under fire for naming Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial governments in electricity theft scandals.
