Summary Judge Kazim Ali’s court nullified the election results announced for PP-107.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Election tribunal has declared PP-107 polls null and void and ordered a re-election in the constituency.

An election tribunal Monday annulled result of PP-107, Hafizabad, after it was established that rigging took place.

The application, which requested re-election in the said constituency, was filed by runner-up candidate Nighat Intisar whereas the seat was won by independent candidate Shoaib Shah Nawaz.

Later, Nawaz had joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

After hearing the case, the tribunal ordered repolling in the constituency, declaring the election results as null and void.

The tribunal also requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to make arrangements for a re-election in the constituency.
