Summary Hospitals in Mithi face shortage of pediatricians despite heavy claims of Sindh government.

THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – Two more children died of malnutrition here in Civil Hospital on Tuesday.

According to details, two-month-old Dev Kumar and two-year-old Maula Baksh Nehri of Dewaar village in Deplo died of malnutrition.

On the other hand, Civil Hospital Mitthi and other hospitals are facing shortage of pediatricians and lady doctors despite heavy claims of Sindh government.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had announced Rs 10 million grant for Civil Hospital Mitthi but it has not been released yet.

Mitthi Hospital is also facing shortage of medicines due to which the patients are compelled to purchase from private stores.

Meanwhile, residents of far flung villages in Tharparkar continue to migrate to other places while gastro outbreak is spreading in different areas.

Moreover the affectees could not get fodder for their cattle despite its availability in different godowns, however distribution of wheat continues in different areas.
