Summary Rashid assured the lawyers that every possible step would be taken to resolve their problems.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Pervaiz Rashid said on Monday Rangers would be deployed at Islamabad district courts from tomorrow (Tuesday).
During a meeting with a delegation of lawyers comprising Islamabad High Court Bar President Mohsin Kiani and Islamabad District Courts Bar President Naseer Kiani, Pervaiz Rashid said the government believed in rule of law and supremacy of the Constitution.
Pervaiz Rashid, who is also Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Cultural Herirage, said necessary funds for the construction of a new court complex would be allocated in the coming budget.
He also assured the lawyers that the recommendations of judicial commission headed by Justice Shaukat Siddiqui of Islamabad High Court, which probed the district courts terror attack, would be implemented in letter and spirit.
The minister reiterated that the issue of compensation to the families of martyrs and the injured of terrorist attack would be discussed with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on his return from the Netherlands.
The compensation would be given without any discrimination, he added.
Members of the National Assembly Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
